Romantic, Antique 18k Five-Stone Diamond Band Ring

The most storied, romantic ring!!!! An antique engagement ring from ~1883, set with 5 natural diamonds. Inside the ring is hand-engraved 'LG Mizap' and 'GC' - likely a wedding gift to LG from GC. 

 This antique piece is over 140 years old and in fantastic condition. All the diamonds have had their settings tightened, and it has been gently polished, leaving it with a gentle patina and no large scratches or visible wear. There is evidence of a former resize in the band - the assay mark is half covered but looks likely to be Chester. 

Four of the diamonds are old cuts, with one diamond a newer replacement (no large culet). The band is slightly oval, it falls between a size M-N.
