Antique 18ct Gold Diamond & Ruby Three Star Set Ring

Rich buttery YELLOW gold sets off the diamond and pink rubies in this stunning antique piece. This piece is from 1899!!!! With characteristic deep star-set engravings of the stone settings and the 8-point stars. 

An antique piece that's over 120 years old; the gold is beautifully patina-d, with a true yellow colouring. Looks more like 22ct IMO. Beautiful scroll detail on the shoulders and a thick back band. This is a sturdy piece that has lasted the years and is ready for another 120! 

The central stone is a chonky old-cut natural diamond; the two side stones are vivid, pinkish lab rubies. 

The central diamond has a visible chip out of its front face, likely due to its age. The rubies are in excellent condition and are likely later replacements. 

Front of the band measures 8mm at the widest points. Back band measures 4.3mm at the narrowest point.
